The art project brings together
4 distinct interpretations of space,
light and memories.
4 paths meet again after decade.
A 'cavernous space' introduces our
low and natural energy confluence.
The Mina space runned by José Pedro and Sofia (Creative Hub),
was the precious insight step in old town in Bragança where Culture,
art and design bring together our paths between Poland and Portugal.
This combination, developed by ccc & jc, meets an old objective in our art – design pieces. Make a confluence between tradition and portuguese identity, plus light and the direct correspondence, that these objects should be proudly eatable. Once again religious motifs (Jacinta) and ‘disbelief’ intervention (carlos), joined together to respect both sides. These 5 ephemeral eatable pieces made of bread (flour - Unleavened bread) in tiny transparency sheets transport our aim to a sacral and celebrated moment, between God, sweetness and the pleasure to see light in a different perspective.
At the same time immolating a kind of new Eucharistia: “Let us now eat", the light. Of course the celebration was incomplete, because in that vernissage day, there wasn’t unfortunately real small Sweets from Amarant to create a fruitful dialogue between friendship, culture, rites and habits. 😊 But at least our converse mirror was there to support our pieces and emphasise our smiles (lips like sugar, Echo & the Bunnymen, 1987).
