Starting from a fraga (special huge stone) in the region where the festival takes place, a translucent sculptural object is created in the fountain of Praça da República, whose coordinates call origin the work 40 ° 55 ’32.10’ ’N | 8 ° 32 ’32.13’ ’W | Serra de Arouca. Replicating the ideia of the birthing stones, or the rocks that give birth to other stones, near the Geopark from Arouca, we transporte this 'fraga' to the center of St. Maria da Feira city.
The concepts of mimesis, space, nature, (dis) context, surroundings, structure, etc. are worked on. The pack now acts in other places, searches the territory and makes its prey other stones, magical and timeless. Again it captures the shape and, turning it around, wraps it with its webs. And another skin is created and the chrysalis is built.
The stone / pupa is installed in another square and there awaits the mutation; meanwhile, and again, it absorbs and reflects, welcomes and displays, presents itself and represents itself and stirs those who look at it howling at the Moon.
