Retorno
This voyage is confluent with our day living in our little village in the interior of Natural Park of Montesinho. The agriculture and the self-production structures are deeply connected with our day living. We learn, and we build the land every cycle and season, learning with our neighbourhood, the gifts of land. Design and art, is always connected with this ability of create structures that holds vertically this amazing interplay between small plants, that rise around sticks of wood, giving us mental, physical and metabolism gastronomic offerings. The ‘ return’ to nature and this elemental way of positioning the body near the land and earth, keep us focus in work and joy. While we go up, and stand in this vertical chairs we have the opportunity to release our soul, placing the next season seeds in our hands. This seated place, is an opportunity to see ourselves deeper and further, waiting the shade of the tree. Placing us into a sky leaf mirror, confining our body and skin in a process of metamorphosis: little and humbled.

'Return' has been exposed from June to November 2018 in the Centre of Contemporary Art, now will return to the Old abandoned school of our village in December 2018.
Returning to the origin, the scenario of birth, the continuous cycle of preparing, producing and extracting goods from this blessed landscape, coming back to the habits, routines and behaviours that gave expression to our aims and rushes.
