For the third time we are honoured to have an Award at GRAPHIS Competitions. Two years ago, one Honourable Mention and then a Silver in 2023 and finally in 2024 another Silver. Thanks to the whole jury from the different competitions. It’s an Honour and a responsibility for the future work that we will develop. We hope to transmit to kids, students and politics and community around the world a message of courage. Our approach, implies this time a sense of fixing Democracy and children rights, helping Ukraine People in this terrible trail.
Approach
Using our doll Nancy again, to refine our message and paths. (we) and Nancy found again more one tool: a scissor in our field of potatoes.
To cut the rope, or to cut signs and symbols, an antagonistic symbolism of meaning in process and concept. Could be in Ukraine or in Palestine, or every place where children do not have a future, like the punk movement (no future). Cutting regions, territories, landscape, rites, habits and routines, destroying identity, immaterial and material culture, transform all the possibility of growth well-being, or transforming education in a shallow legacy. Design is here as an education medium, and as Enzo Mari once said: design is always a political, ethical and ideological statement, before being transformed in a market product.
