This streamlined toy is made with the reuse of old car front and rear car sills, plus engine valves as tires. The suggestive dialectic of rebuilding objects with the minimum use of other elements found in a mechanical dirty rubble. The random and reconfigured parts explore the elegant shapes of old record-car or the contour lines of American cars from the 40’s and 50s, including the blue famous six-wheel-drive from Tyrrel.
Simple exercise regarding the reinterpretation of those objects that are close and at the same time sufficiently distant to be dispensed in a container, nevertheless exists in the manual or laboratory gestures of doing or making, this kind of attendance, sometimes confluent with the artefacts collected in home. Design in a proactive dialectic that simultaneously invents and reconditions functions and forms. The variety of industrial products and their casings are agents of a growing numbness, but they are also the possibility, path and cause for those who are not so distracted in this obsolescence object amalgam. The object value suffers from this spiritual revival that resists the pressure of abundance inserting not a homo dormentis but a homo faber.
